I've had this yarn marked in my dye book for about four years now.

I wasn't expecting the culmination of dye powders to produce this colour. I'd gone in expecting something quite different.

All this time later I'm still amazed and drawn to it.

I highly recommend gentle handwashing in cool water to prolong the life of your project. Machine washable yarn can tend to grow once washed, so please ensure you swatch, wash and check your gauge before you commence your project.
The swatch image featured for this product was knit with 4 ply 100% merino, across 42 stitches on 2.75mm needles. While it is impossible to provide an image that gives a definitive 'result' for all projects, I feel it is very important to give some example of how the yarn can knit up.

Please be mindful that the colour distribution for your project may vary due to the following factors:-

while controls are in place to limit variation, the nature of being hand-dyed means no two skeins will be exactly the same. The dye may strike in different areas as it moves through the dyebath water.

your personal knitting gauge

whether you are using 4 ply or 8 ply yarn
