Hi and welcome to Plinth Yarn. Several years ago I began experimenting with colour, learning how to dye yarn and using it in my own projects. I'd never had any aspiration to share my work with others let alone open a shop. Over time I've built up an inventory of colours and techniques, and I relish the infinite possibilities for each skein. The individuality of each yarn is revealed as it is worked, feeding personal creativity and making a project uniquely yours.

For the time and effort you put into your project, I want the yarn to be the best support possible. I use dyes that are highly washfast and lightfast, ensuring the colour you select for your project lasts. The yarn is proudly Australian Merino, spun in NSW.

New colours will be added to the shop monthly, increasing the variety of hand dyed yarns on offer from our growing Australian indie dyer community.
